In addition to the individual auctions, we are also raising money on behalf of the Regiment of Fan Laborers (or ROFL).

The Regiment of Fan Laborers is a still-pretty-new FTH initiative launched last year, which aims to foster community among FTH creators and provide authors and artists with beta readers, expertise-pickers, and other kinds of fan labor support. The ROFL is a group of fan laborers who – in addition to offering individual fan labor auctions – have volunteered to make their services available to anyone creating fanworks for FTH over the course of the year. A bunch of last year’s ROFLers have agreed to stick around for another year, and we have several new people who volunteered to join the roster in 2021. 

If (like us) you think the gallant and talented fan laborers of ROFL are pretty rad, you can make a donation in support of them! These donations are cumulative, rather than competitive: we welcome all donations, of whatever amount you can give.

You can make a donation on behalf of ROFL to any of the supported orgs on our list -- or, if you prefer, you can donate to one of these two Texas-based organizations that are on the ground working to help victims of the recent storms and their infrastructural fallout:

We will keep ROFL donations open until 8pm EST on Friday, March 5th -- the same as the deadline for auction donation proof. When donating, please indicate on the organization’s donation page (if possible) that your donation is on behalf of Fandom Trumps Hate; when emailing us your proof of donation, please be sure to tell us that you are donating on behalf of ROFL.
